A Nigerian woman named Chukwuma Mariam recently shared a shocking but powerful family story on Facebook.

According to Mariam, her mother and aunts didn’t keep silent when their brother treated his wife badly. After he cheated on his wife and later physically attacked her, the women in the family stood up for the victim.

“My mama and her two siblings beat their brother because of the wife. You dey find peace, u dey cheat, still dey beat your wife. Kaii that day nor funny. My uncle dey like person wey trailer jam.
