Content Creator Behind Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s Viral Video Breaks Silence

The content creator who recorded the trending video of Pastor Paul Adefarasin has finally opened up about what happened.

Recently, the video went viral because many Nigerians believed the pastor was holding a gun while driving his Range Rover. This sparked a lot of anger online.

Pastor Adefarasin later spoke during a Sunday service at his church. He said clearly that he does not own a gun and was not carrying one during the incident.

The man who took the video decided to speak out through Daddy Freeze’s online platform, sharing his version of the event.

He said he was at the Ikoyi roundabout that day to film expensive cars. His plan was to capture at least 10 Range Rovers on video, and Pastor Adefarasin’s vehicle was simply the first one he saw.

According to him, when he waved at the approaching car, it stopped. The window was rolled down, and that’s when the pastor told him not to record.

He also made it clear that he was not aggressive and did not act in a threatening way during the brief interaction.

The video caused a lot of confusion, but the content creator has now explained that it was all a misunderstanding.

He partly said:

“I didn’t move close to the car, I even moved back sef. So as I start the video, I was just saying ‘Boss, Boss’. As he now parked, I was so happy, Me I even thought he just want to acknowledge me. As he wound down he said ‘Don’t do that,’ and I was like ‘Sorry Boss.’. I didn’t really focus on him, I was just focused on my own screen to get the video perfect. As he left, I didn’t know what was in his hand. I sha see one stuff in his hand, but I didn’t not know….”
