Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has sent a warm message to children all over the country. She called them the true hope and promise of Nigeria’s future.
She gave this message during the celebration of International Children’s Day, which is observed every year on May 27.
This year’s theme is “Stand Up: Building a Bullying-Free Generation.” Mrs. Tinubu said the theme reminds everyone of the important role we all play in protecting children and helping them grow.
While celebrating, she wished every child in Nigeria happiness and success, calling them the heart of the nation’s tomorrow.
She also spoke about the dangers of bullying. Whether it happens in schools, online, or in neighborhoods, bullying can hurt children deeply and affect their confidence, learning, and friendships.
Mrs. Tinubu said every child has the right to grow up in a safe and caring place where they don’t feel afraid.
As a mother, she urged all Nigerians to speak out against bullying. She encouraged everyone to teach children to be kind and said real leadership comes from caring for others.
She ended her message with love and wished all children a joyful Children’s Day.
