Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo has made it clear that his team is not worried about playing away at Inter Milan’s home ground, San Siro, in the upcoming UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg.
Speaking to the media before the match, Olmo reminded everyone that Barcelona has already won big games away from home this season. They have beaten teams at Santiago Bernabeu, Metropolitano Stadium, and Signal Iduna Park – some of the toughest stadiums in Europe. These wins give the team extra confidence going into the match against Inter.
“It’s been six years since Barcelona reached the semi-finals and ten years since we last played in the final,” Olmo said. “We are full of energy and ready for this challenge.”
He admitted that playing at home is helpful, but said that his team has already proven they can handle pressure in difficult away stadiums. “We’re not afraid – it actually pushes us to do better,” Olmo added.
The first leg of the semi-final between Barcelona and Inter ended in an exciting 3-3 draw at Camp Nou. That result sets up a thrilling second leg at San Siro on Tuesday night, with both teams fighting for a place in the final.
