Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) responded sharply to President Donald Trump after he called her a “low-IQ person.”
Trump’s remarks about Crockett were made during an interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker on Sunday.
The president stated, “I see the Democrats have someone new named Crockett. I heard her speak recently, and she’s clearly a low-IQ person.”
In response, Crockett posted on X, sharing her views on Trump’s comments.
At 44 years old, Crockett called Trump “diabolical, delusional, demented, and dumb” for questioning her intelligence.
She wrote: “Imagine being occupied with receiving another honorary doctorate and inspiring future leaders through a commencement speech, only to hear that diabolical Don is attacking your IQ again.”
Crockett added that while she was addressing graduates who genuinely value her insights, Trump was lagging behind as a president. She criticized him for choosing to insult her instead of improving his leadership.
