Former US President Donald Trump criticized Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat, labeling her as a “low-IQ person.”

In an interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker on Sunday, Trump expressed his opinion about Crockett, a prominent Democratic figure.

Trump said, “I can’t name one Democrat. They have this new person named Crockett. I watched her speak recently, and she’s definitely a low-IQ person. They claim she’s the future of the party.”

He went on to add, “IQ politics is real. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.”

Jasmine Crockett, a lawyer and politician, has represented Texas’s 30th congressional district since January 2023. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

The 44-year-old lawmaker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2003. She later graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2006 with a Juris Doctor.
