A massive fire broke out at Karu Market, located in the suburbs of Abuja, on Thursday, causing significant damage to the area.

Abiola Adebayo, the Acting Director of the FCT Fire Service, confirmed the incident and noted the scale of the blaze.

He stated that several firefighters were immediately deployed to the scene to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby areas. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and efforts are ongoing to assess the full extent of the damage.
