Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced that Kylian Mbappe and Ferland Mendy will not play in the team’s upcoming LaLiga game against Getafe on Wednesday.

Speaking before the match, Ancelotti said both players are not ready yet but should be fit in time for the big Copa del Rey final against Barcelona on Saturday night.

“I think Mbappe and Mendy will be ready for the final against Barcelona. They will not be available tomorrow [against Getafe],” Ancelotti said.

Real Madrid go into the Getafe game after a 1-0 win over Athletic Club last Sunday.

The team is currently second in the LaLiga table, four points behind leaders Barcelona with only six matches left.

Madrid are already out of the UEFA Champions League after losing both legs to Arsenal in the quarter-finals.
