Champions League: Referee for Real Madrid vs Arsenal second leg confirmed

UEFA has confirmed that François Letexier will be the referee for the Champions League quarter-final second leg between Real Madrid and Arsenal. The match is set for Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Real Madrid, last season’s champions, are hoping to turn things around after losing 3-0 in the first leg. This will be a big challenge for the team in front of their home crowd.

Letexier is a 35-year-old referee from France. He has experience with big matches, including the Euro 2020 final between Spain and England.

This will be the fifth time Letexier has officiated a Real Madrid game. Earlier this season, he was the referee when Madrid lost 2-0 to Liverpool in the group stage. He also oversaw last season’s 3-3 quarter-final draw against Manchester City and the 4-2 group stage win against Napoli.

With such a high-pressure game ahead, all eyes will be on both the players and the referee.
