Former Manchester United forward Teddy Sheringham has taken a swipe at Jose Mourinho, joking that the famous manager might be better off working in WWE because of his dramatic behavior.

Sheringham made the comments after Mourinho, now the manager of Fenerbahce, grabbed the nose of Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk during a heated moment. The incident happened after Fenerbahce lost 2-1 to Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup quarterfinals, and Mourinho is currently serving a match ban for his actions.

Speaking to Casino Apps, Sheringham said he hadn’t seen the video but still found it funny. While in the Maldives for a coaching event, he spoke with a Fenerbahce fan who expressed frustration with Mourinho, saying the club is falling behind Galatasaray in the league.

Sheringham added that Mourinho always seems to find a way to distract attention from his team’s struggles and suggested that his over-the-top antics make him a good fit for the WWE wrestling world.
