Posting on social media, Schumer questioned why Trump didn’t put tariffs on Russia. He joked that Trump “slapped tariffs on penguins and not on Putin,” showing how confused he thinks Trump’s trade strategy was.

Schumer didn’t hold back. He said Trump used tariffs in a very foolish way and that it showed he didn’t understand what he was doing.

He also blamed Trump for other decisions, like firing air traffic controllers, cutting programs that monitor diseases, harming Social Security and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and taking money away from public schools.
