Bandits carried out deadly attacks on two communities in Katsina State, causing deaths, injuries, and destruction.
On Saturday night, armed bandits stormed the Yar Tsakuwa community in Malumfashi Local Government Area. They killed five people and left three others with serious injuries. A security analyst, Bakatsine, shared the news on social media, confirming the attack.
In a separate incident, bandits also attacked the Kaware community in Katsina State. They kidnapped one person and stole a large number of cattle. Additionally, they ransacked shops, taking away valuable items.
These attacks are part of the ongoing security challenges in the region. Residents continue to live in fear as bandits target rural communities.
