Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has asked Nigerian politician Natasha Akpoti to take a lie detector test after she accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment.

Omokri shared a video on social media, recalling that Akpoti had made a similar accusation against him in 2021. He explained that she falsely claimed he harassed her at a state banquet in 2014. However, Omokri proved he was not in Nigeria at that time by sharing passport stamps and flight tickets as evidence.

According to Omokri, after media reports exposed her false claims, Akpoti deleted all her accusations. He also revealed that a senior clergyman and Akpoti’s husband, Emmanuel Uduaghan, intervened, leading to an out-of-court settlement where he received financial compensation.

Now, Omokri believes that Akpoti’s allegations against Akpabio should not be accepted without verification. He stated that she has a history of making false claims and suggested that before Nigerians judge Akpabio, Akpoti should be required to take a lie detector test.

Omokri emphasized that if she refuses to take the test, people should question her credibility based on her past actions.
