Aisha Yesufu expressed disappointment with Bola Tinubu’s government for spending N21 billion on the Vice President’s lodge, suggesting that they’re only skilled at corruption.
She said,
“The N21 billion was not enough to cover landscaping? How do you come out of your house and the front is looking like a kids’ abandoned football field? Rigging is the only thing they know how to focus on.”
President Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, defended the commissioning of the VP’s lodge, emphasizing its importance in showing respect for the office and its occupants.
Tinubu acknowledged the challenges faced by the project in the past and highlighted his administration’s commitment to overcoming obstacles and completing inherited projects as part of their Renewed Hope Agenda.
