The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has started an investigation into the tragic death of a makeup artist, Emrich Effanga. Reports suggest that she was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, Ndifreke.
The police spokesperson, DSP Timfon John, confirmed the investigation to journalists in Uyo on Monday, February 10. He stated that the Commissioner of Police, Baba Azare, has ordered a full probe into the case.
“Information at our disposal has it that the matter has been reported to us, and an investigation is ongoing at the moment. Further developments will be communicated to you,” the spokesperson said
The heartbreaking news was shared online by Effanga’s brother, who revealed that she was murdered by someone she once loved. The police are now working to uncover the full details of what happened.
