According to Mace, the US government spent over $10 million on research involving gender-related procedures for mice, rats, and monkeys.

The White Coat Waste Project, an organization that investigates government animal testing, uncovered this spending.

Mace stated that these Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) grants supported painful surgeries and hormone treatments on animals at different universities across the country.

She criticized these experiments, calling them cruel and unnecessary.

Mace also accused the Biden administration of using taxpayer money to promote a radical agenda. She pointed out that $2.5 million was specifically used to study the fertility of transgender mice.

She strongly opposed the idea of surgically altering animal genitals for research and expressed concern about government funds being spent on such studies.

Before ending her speech, Mace emphasized that wasting taxpayer money on animal experiments should concern everyone, regardless of political views.

She called for more accountability in government spending and stricter regulations to prevent unnecessary animal testing.
