US to send deportees from all nationalities including dangerous criminals to El Salvador after striking migrant deal

The U.S. government has reached a new deal with El Salvador, allowing deportees from all nationalities, including violent criminals, to be sent to the Central American nation.

This agreement is seen as one of the most significant migration policies ever made.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele has agreed to accept deportees from the U.S., regardless of their nationality.

This includes individuals who are legal residents or even U.S. citizens.

The deal also includes a commitment from El Salvador to take back all Salvadoran MS-13 gang members who are in the U.S. illegally.

Additionally, the country will imprison violent criminals from other nations, including members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang.

In a shocking turn, President Bukele has also offered to house dangerous American criminals in Salvadoran jails.

This means that individuals serving sentences in the U.S. could be transferred to prisons in El Salvador.

State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce called the agreement “a tremendous success that will make both countries stronger, safer, and more prosperous.”

The announcement came after President Trump temporarily halted tariff increases on Canada and Mexico.

In response, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has promised stronger border security measures. Meanwhile, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has agreed to send 10,000 National Guard members to the border to stop drug trafficking.

This deal marks a significant shift in U.S. immigration and border control policies, with El Salvador playing a central role in handling deportees and criminals from multiple countries.
