Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the founder of SPAC Nation (Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church), has made a surprising revelation about his ministry. He shared that his church does not ask for tithes or offerings from its members. Instead, his income comes from managing businesses and companies in the United Kingdom (UK).
This approach is quite different from what many might expect from a church leader. Pastor Adegboyega explained that he runs several businesses, which support his lifestyle and ministry. By focusing on these ventures, he has been able to keep his church’s financial support separate from the donations of his members.
His decision to not rely on tithes and offerings is an unusual practice in many churches but reflects his focus on business success and creating alternative income sources to fund his work.
Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, the flamboyant pastor said: “I have brought people from prisons and made them multi-millionaires and the testimonies are public.
“I have raised people and they became CEOs of black corporations in the UK.
“I’m not a person that believes in wealth, I believe in people and I have raised a lot of people.
“If anybody knows us around the world, they will know us for having people, I have supported 250 SMEs in Nigeria with one million each over the past two years and they are doing well.
“We started businesses, we raised companies here. What we do is that we invest in little businesses and watch them grow, that is what sustains us here.
“Even as a church, we don’t take tithes and offerings, we watch these businesses grow.”
