The 45-year-old man was apprehended in the Hotoro Yandodo area of Nassarawa Local Government, Kano.

Umar Ibrahim hails from Dikke in the Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State. He is believed to have connections with a notorious bandit leader involved in a series of kidnapping and violent crimes in the Funtua area. His arrest is part of ongoing efforts by security agencies to dismantle criminal networks that pose a threat to public safety.
