NNPCL Chief Mele Kyari Mourns the Loss of His 25-Year-Old Daughter

Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), is heartbroken over the loss of his 25-year-old daughter, Fatima Kyari. Fatima passed away on Friday, October 11, in Abuja.

Her funeral prayers took place at the Annur Mosque in Abuja and were attended by many mourners, including Vice President Kashim Shettima. In his message of condolence to Mele Kyari and his family, the Vice President expressed his sadness and offered prayers for Fatima’s soul to find peace. He also prayed for strength for the family during this difficult time.

Vice President Shettima’s condolences were shared in a statement by Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications. He also led the attendees in prayer for Fatima’s soul during the funeral service.

“Aged 25, the late Fatima passed away on Friday.

“VP Shettima, who prayed for the peaceful repose of the late Fatima, asked God to grant the family the strength to bear the painful exit of their daughter, who was in her prime.

“The Vice President led other mourners at the funeral prayers, which were held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja,
” it added.
