Moisés Caicedo has become another Chelsea FC player linked with a possible move to Real Madrid, as transfer rumours continue to grow.
The Ecuadorian midfielder made it clear that he is not currently planning to leave London. However, he also did not completely rule out the chance of joining the Spanish giants in the future.
This comes shortly after Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior punished Enzo Fernández with a two-match ban for saying he would like to live in Madrid someday.
When asked about Real Madrid, Caicedo responded with a smile, saying football is unpredictable and anything can happen.
He explained that he is still under contract with Chelsea and has not seriously thought about joining another club or leaving London at this time.
Caicedo added that his main focus is to enjoy his football career and continue playing for as long as possible.
He also said the future is uncertain and he prefers to wait and see what opportunities may come later in his career.
The midfielder joined Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2023, and his current deal with the club is expected to run until 2033.
At the same time, former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit has mentioned Caicedo as one of three players who could leave the club during the upcoming summer transfer window.
