The Ministry of Defence has reported that troops have recorded major successes against terrorists in the North-East.

Christopher Musa said about 80 terrorists were killed during recent operations under Operation Hadin Kai.

He noted that the operations took place in areas like Malum Fatori, Damasak, and Magumeri.

The minister praised the troops for working under difficult conditions while maintaining pressure on insurgents.

He also said many achievements are often underreported, while setbacks receive more attention.

Musa called on Nigerians and journalists to support the military and ensure balanced reporting of the ongoing security efforts.
