The Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Abdullahi Wayya, said the situation is being handled urgently.

According to officials, the crisis is linked to disputes over farmland across affected communities.

Local leaders also accused a traditional figure of land seizures, which they say triggered tension among residents.

The unrest reportedly led to casualties, destruction of property, and increased fear in villages like Katai and Gabagadi.
