800 Nigerian deportees received from Niger Republic

Security agencies in Nigeria have received about 800 citizens deported from the Niger Republic at the Jibia-Magama border in Katsina State.

The group, made up of men, women, and children, arrived in multiple buses early in the morning.

Officials from the Nigeria Immigration Service and other security agencies are currently profiling the returnees.

The exercise is aimed at verifying identities and ensuring proper security checks for all individuals.

Authorities also include the Nigeria Customs Service and the police in the screening process.

After profiling, the deportees will be moved to Kano State for further processing and assistance.
