Russia has strongly criticized officials from the United States over remarks regarding Iranian leadership during the ongoing conflict.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov described the tone of such statements as inappropriate, accusing US officials of showing pride over deadly actions.
Lavrov argued that this approach reflects a pattern, claiming that US involvement in countries like Iraq, Syria, and Libya has often worsened instability.
Meanwhile, Iran acknowledged support from Vladimir Putin, with leaders in Tehran expressing appreciation for Moscow’s backing.
However, Russia denied claims that it is sharing intelligence with Iran, stating that information about US military bases is widely known in the region.
The situation continues to draw reactions globally, with leaders like Recep Tayyip Erdogan also voicing concerns over the broader regional tensions.
