A prominent Nigerian politician, Adewole Adebayo, has called for a shift in leadership, urging the country to move away from what he described as “expired political elites.”
Speaking on the state of governance in Nigeria, Adebayo stressed the need for fresh ideas and a new generation of leaders to tackle the nation’s challenges.
He argued that recycling the same political figures has not delivered the desired progress, adding that innovation and accountability are needed in leadership.
According to him, younger and more forward-thinking individuals should be given opportunities to contribute to national development and policy-making.
Adebayo also emphasized that citizens must play an active role by supporting credible candidates who can bring real change to the system.
His remarks add to the growing conversation about political reform and the demand for a new direction ahead of future elections in the country.
