Ramadan: Pray for Tinubu, he’ll ensure better life – Wike to residents

FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has urged Abuja residents to pray for President Bola Tinubu, assuring that ongoing infrastructure projects in satellite towns will improve living conditions. He said the President’s priority is the happiness and welfare of the people.

Wike, during an inspection of roads linking Bwari to Kubwa, stated that it would be difficult for any opposition to win elections in the FCT against Tinubu in 2027 due to visible developmental impacts.

He highlighted that extending development beyond the city centre to rural and satellite communities has strengthened confidence in the administration. Residents reportedly welcomed ongoing projects, reflecting positive impacts on daily life.

The minister listed major road projects in Karu, Apo-Kashi, and Bwari-Kubwa corridors, noting that many communities are witnessing such improvements for the first time, which will boost economic activities and reduce travel time.

Wike dismissed calls for new regulatory agencies for real estate, emphasizing that existing structures like the Department of Development Control are sufficient to enforce the Abuja Master Plan and handle developer malpractices.

He encouraged unity and collective support for national development, noting that interventions in security and infrastructure will enhance economic growth and living standards across the FCT. “I wish everyone a happy Ramadan,” he added.
