The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has dismissed rumours suggesting he has left the Peoples Democratic Party. He made it clear that he remains a committed member of the party.
Speaking on the issue, the governor said reports of his defection are false and misleading. He stressed that he has not taken any step to leave the PDP.
Bala Mohammed added that such rumours are often spread to create confusion in the political space. He urged the public to ignore unverified information.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and his commitment to its goals. According to him, the PDP remains strong and focused despite political speculations.
The governor also noted that his administration in Bauchi State is focused on governance and delivering development to the people, rather than political distractions.
His statement comes amid increasing political movements and alignments ahead of the 2027 general elections, as politicians position themselves across party lines.
