King Mitchy apologizes to Seyi Tinubu, VeryDarkMan

Popular social media personality King Mitchy has publicly apologised to Nigerians after backlash over a live video in which she admitted taking a substance on air. She acknowledged her actions were wrong, stressing that young girls look up to her and expressing regret for disappointing her followers.

Mitchy also tendered a public apology to her boss, Seyi Tinubu, stating that although she had apologised privately, she needed to do so publicly as the incident occurred in a public space. She further apologised to the Ooni of Ife for involving his name in the controversy.

Addressing activist VeryDarkMan, Mitchy admitted she had confronted him wrongly in the past and acknowledged his efforts to make Nigeria better, expressing understanding and support for his advocacy.

She concluded by emphasising that activists like VeryDarkMan need more supporters rather than critics, urging Nigerians to back positive efforts to improve the country.
