The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has elected new state officials during its congress held at the FIFA Stadium Goru in Birnin Kebbi. Delegates from all 21 local government areas participated in the exercise.

The congress was monitored by INEC and ended peacefully without any reports of violence. Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru emerged as the new State Chairman along with 29 other members of the State Executive Committee.

Governor Nasir Idris, who attended the event, praised the calm atmosphere from ward to state level. He called on party members to remain united and support the newly elected leadership ahead of future elections.

Party officials at both national and state levels described the process as transparent and well-organized. Former Governor and Minister for Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu, also commended the smooth coordination among stakeholders.
