Popular Nigerian photographer and biker, Kola Onifoto, whose real name was Orowole Kolapoz, has died after a lone motorcycle crash in Lagos. The 32-year-old reportedly had the accident while on his first solo ride outside the city.

Before the journey, he shared an excited message online about travelling to Akure and praised experienced bikers who have toured different parts of Nigeria and beyond.

After the crash, he was first taken to a Federal Road Safety Corps emergency unit in Ojota and later moved to Lagos University Teaching Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he passed away in the early hours of March 2.

His death has sparked emotional tributes on social media, with many describing him as passionate, adventurous, and inspiring. Authorities are yet to release full details about the accident.
