They’re overrated’ – Christophe Dugarry defends Mbappe, calls out five Real Madrid players

Former French international Christophe Dugarry has defended Kylian Mbappe amid criticism over Real Madrid’s recent struggles. Speaking on Jérôme Rothen’s podcast, Dugarry argued that it is unfair to blame Mbappe alone for the club’s problems.

He suggested that if the Spanish giants no longer value Mbappe, they should consider selling him instead of making him the scapegoat. Dugarry insisted that several other players in the squad have not met expectations.

The ex-World Cup winner described Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Güler, Federico Valverde, Marco Asensio and Aurelien Tchouaméni as overrated. According to him, some of them have not shown the level required to consistently perform for a club like Real Madrid.

His comments have sparked debate among fans, with many divided over whether Mbappe or other squad members should shoulder responsibility for the team’s form.
