Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has responded to criticism over conflicting statements about her past connection to Tonto Dikeh and businessman Olakunle Churchill. The controversy resurfaced after an old clip showed her describing the former couple as family friends.

The earlier video contradicted her recent claim that she never knew or had any relationship with Tonto during the marriage. Online reactions quickly followed, with many users questioning the change in her narrative about events surrounding the pair’s 2017 split.

Addressing the backlash, Meurer explained that her previous remarks were made under pressure from her management team at the time. She said she was young then and felt compelled to say things she did not fully agree with, stressing that her current statement reflects what she now considers the truth.
