EFCC arraigns man over alleged N21m theft

The EFCC has arraigned Nosakhare Osarobo Olawale before Justice O. A. Okunuga of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, for allegedly stealing N21 million. The arraignment took place on February 18, 2026.

Olawale faces a two-count charge of theft, with the EFCC reaffirming its commitment to fighting economic and financial crimes across Nigeria.

The commission’s Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 confirmed that the suspect’s alleged offence involved unlawfully acquiring N21 million, highlighting ongoing efforts to prosecute financial criminals.

EFCC emphasized that such prosecutions are part of broader measures to ensure accountability and deter economic crime, assuring the public that further updates will follow as the case progresses.
