Transfer: Danish club Aarhus Fremad sign Abdullahi from Sporting Lagos

Danish club Aarhus Fremad have completed the permanent signing of young Nigerian striker Yusuf Abdullahi from Sporting Lagos. The 18-year-old forward joins the European side after impressing with his development and performances at the Nigerian club.

Abdullahi spent three years at Sporting Lagos, rising through the academy before earning promotion to the senior team. During his time at the club, he featured in several youth competitions both within Nigeria and abroad, gaining valuable experience at an early stage of his career.

Sporting Lagos confirmed the transfer in a brief statement shared on their official X account, expressing satisfaction with the move. Abdullahi also made history at the club by scoring on his competitive debut in the Nigeria National League, becoming the first academy graduate to achieve that milestone.

The young striker leaves Sporting Lagos after recording two assists in four appearances this season. His move to Aarhus Fremad is seen as a major step forward, offering him the opportunity to continue his development in European football.
