The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has called for the prosecution of those suspected to be behind the killing of a woman and her six children. He described the incident as shocking and heartbreaking, saying it has no place in a civilized society.
Ganduje said the suspects must be properly investigated and brought before the law to face justice. According to him, allowing such crimes to go unpunished would encourage more violence and weaken public trust in the justice system. He stressed that the rule of law must be upheld at all times.
The former Kano State governor urged security agencies to act swiftly and professionally in handling the case. He also appealed to the judiciary to ensure a fair and timely trial once investigations are concluded, noting that justice delayed could further deepen the pain of the affected families and community.
Ganduje expressed sympathy with the relatives of the victims and prayed for strength for them during this difficult time. He added that justice for the slain woman and her children would send a strong message that crimes against innocent lives will not be tolerated in Nigeria.
