Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has issued a stern warning to online trolls and platforms spreading false information about her family. The actress reacted to allegations made by TikTok content creator Eedie Bliss, who claimed that Johnson’s husband purchased a mansion for a mistress who allegedly became pregnant. Eedie Bliss was released from detention on Saturday, January 17, 2026, following public outcry.
In her first public statement regarding the matter, Mercy Johnson announced via Instagram that the charges against Bliss had been withdrawn out of respect for those who reached out in support. However, she emphasized that online trolling and spreading false information would no longer be tolerated.
The actress revealed plans to take more decisive action against those who target her and her family online, including pursuing court cases when necessary. “It’s no longer going to be business as usual for online trolls and platforms sharing false rumors against me and my family,” she said.
Mercy Johnson also thanked her fans for their ongoing support, noting that while she appreciates their love, she is determined to defend her family against harassment. She warned that future online misconduct may result in legal consequences.
