Former South African international, Stanton Fredericks, has predicted that Morocco will not be able to defeat Senegal in their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 clash. According to him, Senegal have shown more balance, experience and mental strength than Morocco throughout the tournament so far.

Fredericks said Senegal’s strong defence and disciplined midfield give them an edge in big matches. He noted that while Morocco have quality players and attacking talent, they often struggle when faced with physically strong and well-organised teams like Senegal.

The former Bafana Bafana star added that Senegal’s players are used to high-pressure situations and have proven themselves in major competitions, including winning AFCON in the past. He believes this experience will play a big role in deciding the outcome of the match.
