The Nigeria National League (NNL) has officially announced a new date for the kick-off of the second stanza of the 2024/2025 season. The league body said the adjustment was necessary to allow clubs complete outstanding administrative and logistical preparations ahead of the restart.

In a statement released by the NNL management, clubs were advised to use the extra time to finalize player registrations, settle outstanding issues and ensure their teams are fully ready for competitive action. The league assured fans that the change would help improve the quality and smooth running of the second half of the season.
