Sokoto unveil security plan to end banditry

Sokoto State government has introduced a comprehensive security plan aimed at ending the rising cases of banditry across the state. The initiative seeks to protect lives and properties while restoring peace to communities that have been frequently targeted by armed groups.

Officials said the strategy involves strengthened intelligence gathering, joint patrols by security agencies, and increased collaboration with local communities. They emphasized that community participation would be key to successfully tackling the bandit menace.
