The African Peoples Party (APP) has condemned the alleged restriction of access to its leader at Sam Mbakwe Airport. The party described the action as unacceptable and a violation of democratic rights.
APP accused the airport authorities of denying their leader the opportunity to freely move, emphasizing that such behavior undermines public trust in government institutions. The party called for an immediate explanation for the incident.
According to the party, this is not the first time its members have faced restrictions, and it warned that continued interference could escalate tensions. APP urged authorities to respect political freedoms and ensure fair treatment for all citizens.
The party also appealed to relevant regulatory bodies and human rights organizations to investigate the matter. APP stressed the need for accountability and transparency in handling such incidents to prevent future occurrences.
