Supporters of former Sokoto State governor, Attahiru Bafarawa, have dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State. The defection was announced at a political gathering where the defectors said they were seeking a new political direction.
