Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has signed the 2026 Appropriation Bill into law, approving a total budget of N642.9 billion for the state. The signing followed the passage of the budget by the Kebbi State House of Assembly after weeks of deliberation and review.

According to the state government, the 2026 budget places strong emphasis on capital projects aimed at improving infrastructure, education, healthcare, and agriculture. Governor Idris said the spending plan reflects his administration’s commitment to boosting economic growth, creating jobs, and improving the welfare of residents across Kebbi.
