Osun NNPP elects new state, LG executives

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Osun State has elected new state and local government executives to strengthen its structure ahead of future elections. Party leaders said the new lineup was chosen to rebuild the party, expand its reach across communities, and prepare for upcoming political activities. Members from different zones participated in the election to ensure wide representation.

During the event, NNPP officials explained that the election was part of their strategy to reposition the party in Osun. They added that the new executives would focus on grassroots mobilisation, youth engagement, and peaceful internal operations. According to them, the party needs strong leaders at all levels to compete effectively in the state.

The newly elected chairman and officers promised to work together to restore confidence in the party. They assured members that they would prioritise unity, transparency, and fairness. They also pledged to welcome new supporters and improve communication between the state and local government chapters.

Political observers believe the fresh leadership could help the NNPP become more active in Osun’s political space. Many supporters hope the new executives will bring new energy, better organisation, and stronger participation in state-wide activities as the party plans for future elections.
