War on terrorism: Nigeria receiving robust international backing – Ribadu

Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has revealed that the country is now receiving strong international support in its battle against terrorism. He explained that several global partners are helping Nigeria with intelligence, training, and technical assistance to strengthen ongoing security operations. According to him, this level of cooperation shows the world is committed to helping Nigeria end violent extremism.

Ribadu noted that the fight against terrorism has become more coordinated because Nigeria is working closely with friendly nations and international security bodies. He said these partnerships are improving surveillance, boosting equipment supply, and helping the military tackle terror groups more effectively. He also stressed that terrorism is a global challenge, and collaboration is key to defeating it.

The NSA added that Nigeria has made progress in different parts of the country due to this renewed global backing. He praised the military, intelligence agencies, and security operatives for their efforts, saying they are becoming more efficient with the extra support they receive. Ribadu assured Nigerians that the government remains committed to restoring peace across all troubled regions.

He concluded by urging citizens to cooperate with security agencies and report suspicious activities. According to him, defeating terrorism requires teamwork among the government, international partners, and the public. Ribadu expressed hope that with the steady support Nigeria is now enjoying, the nation will soon overcome its security challenges.
