The Nigeria Police Force has presented cheques worth ₦48.9 million to the families of police personnel who died in active service in Niger State. The financial support is part of the Force’s insurance and welfare scheme designed to assist relatives of officers who lost their lives while protecting the nation.
During the presentation, the state police leadership noted that the gesture reflects the commitment of the Police to stand by its members and their families, especially during difficult times. They emphasized that fallen officers made great sacrifices, and supporting their families remains a duty the Force takes seriously.
