APC Women Leader, others dump Party for NNPP in Kano

Political movement continues in Kano as a key women leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and several supporters have officially left the party to join the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

The defectors said their decision was based on their desire for better political direction and a party they believe represents the interests of the people in the state.

They praised the NNPP’s leadership, saying it offers a vision that aligns with their goals for development and empowerment, especially for women and youths.

Their move is seen as another boost for the NNPP in Kano’s political scene as tensions rise ahead of future elections. Party leaders welcomed the new members, promising equal opportunity and active roles in strengthening the party’s structure.
