Slavia Prague head coach has expressed concern over the absence of key defender Igoh Ogbu ahead of their UEFA Champions League match against Arsenal. Ogbu, an important part of the team’s backline, will miss the game due to injury, and his absence is seen as a major setback.
Speaking ahead of the match, the coach noted that Ogbu brings strength, confidence, and stability to the defence. He explained that facing a top team like Arsenal without the Nigerian defender will be challenging, but the squad must stay focused and work harder to compete.
The coach emphasized that Slavia Prague still believes in their chances, despite the difficult situation. He added that younger players will have to step up and take responsibility in the high-pressure encounter.
Fans of the club have also shown concern, as Ogbu has been one of the standout performers this season. However, the team remains hopeful of putting up a strong fight against the Premier League giants.
