Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his efforts toward improving the Southern Kaduna region. Abbas said the President has demonstrated a genuine commitment to developing the area through ongoing projects and supportive policies. He made this known during a public event, where he highlighted the strides made by the current administration in boosting infrastructure and public welfare in the zone.
According to Abbas, several federal projects in Southern Kaduna—such as road works, education investments, and health facilities—prove that the region is not being neglected. He noted that Tinubu’s leadership remains focused on giving every part of the country fair attention, regardless of political or ethnic differences. The Speaker commended the President for treating national development as a collective mission rather than a sectional agenda.
Abbas stressed that Southern Kaduna has suffered years of neglect from previous governments, which limited growth and opportunities for its people. However, he believes the current administration has started addressing these gaps by prioritizing peace-building, job creation, and security improvements in the region. He encouraged residents to support government efforts to sustain progress.
He also called on political stakeholders and community leaders to work closely with the federal government to ensure development initiatives succeed. Collaboration, he said, will help tackle challenges like insecurity and unemployment, while improving living standards for local residents. Abbas added that unity and constructive engagement are essential for long-term growth.
The Speaker expressed optimism that continuous support from the federal government will bring more infrastructure, better security, and economic opportunities to Southern Kaduna. He urged citizens to remain patient and hopeful, saying the government is committed to delivering tangible results that will positively transform the region.
