The Delta State Police Command has impounded 25 vehicles as part of its ongoing enforcement of the tinted glass permit regulation. The operation was carried out to ensure that motorists using tinted windows comply with the law, which requires proper authorization before use.

According to the police, the measure is aimed at strengthening security and curbing criminal activities often linked to vehicles with unauthorized tinted glasses. Officers explained that the enforcement exercise will continue across the state until motorists abide by the set rules.

The police urged members of the public to cooperate by obtaining the necessary permits from the appropriate authorities. They also reminded drivers that while tinted glasses may offer comfort and privacy, security regulations must be respected to maintain public safety.
